Individual Membership
This membership is for individuals whose primary role is in regulatory affairs. It offers a discounted rate for a one-year, two-year, or three-year option.
Government/Non-Profit
This membership is exclusively for individuals employed by a government or non-profit entity.
Emerging Markets
Available to regulatory professionals living in countries classified as upper-middle, lower-middle, or low-income by the Word Bank. View the list of countries identified as Emerging Markets by the World Bank. Upon creating an account with a related address, the option will be available for you to purchase.
Student Membership
Student membership is available to any individual enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited higher education institution. Individuals must be enrolled in a degree program. Qualifying students should take at least six credit hours (undergraduate degree) or 3 credit hours (graduate degree) per semester or comparable credits in a quarter system. Student membership is available for up to six years. Students must provide proof of status to qualify for membership.
Proof of status must be current and include the school name, student name, and current course enrollment with credit hour details. You may provide one of the following types of documentation as proof of status:
- Official or unofficial transcript
- Letter from advisor (signed and recently dated)
- Letter from Registrar (signed and recently dated)
- Screenshot/download of University student portal or current enrollment classes (Screenshot MUST include all required information)
A student ID or tuition receipt is not acceptable proof of student status. Proof of status will need to be uploaded when completing your online membership. Submitting incorrect or incomplete material can result in delay of approval. Approval of student membership status within 48 business hours for correct information. Recent Graduate Membership
To qualify for a Recent Graduate membership, you must have graduated from a recognized academic institution with a baccalaureate degree (or higher) related to regulatory affairs or life sciences within one year of the date of applying for membership.
Proof of graduation requirements (choose one):
- Copy of diploma
- Unofficial transcript showing your graduation date
- Letter from your institution’s registrar on official university letterhead specifying that you graduated on DATE (within 12 months)
The recent graduate membership can only be used once and is intended for those graduating and entering the workforce for the first time. If you are continuing your education at the graduate or Ph.D. level, you should apply for student membership. If you have any questions, please email raps@raps.org.
Recent Graduate pricing is discounted for the first 3 years before renewing an Individual membership.
Retired Membership
Retired from the practice and have been a member for ten or more years. To renew as a retired member, please contact our customer service representatives by email at raps@raps.org.
Lifetime Membership
Individuals who have offered distinguished, long-term services to RAPS, are retired, and have been a continuous member of RAPS for at least 20 years. Lifetime membership is conferred by a unanimous vote of the Board of Directors. Lifetime members are exempt from payment of dues.
